Jennifer Salinas was born in San Pedro Sula in Honduras on November 30, 1977. Her
Christian walk began early in her life as did her musical inclination.
At 15 Jennifer decided to study music at the Victoriano Lopez School of Music in her native
city. She chose the piano as her main study with the cello a second instrument. She won
the silver medal for two consecutive years, the first cellist to do so in the 50 years of the
school’s history. This opened the doors for the multi-talented artist to perform with
orchestras as a cellist, organist, pianist, in the chorus and as a soloist. While performing
with orchestras Jennifer discovered a passion for the chant.
After six years Jennifer finished her musical studies and followed God’s call on her life to serve
in the ministry. During the trials in her life God has always shown her His promise that
“All things work together for good for those who love the Lord.”
In 1999 Jennifer signed with One Voice Records and in 200 her first project
“Esencia”(Essence) was released. Jennifer has had the opportunity to perform in Puerto
Rico, Colombia, Guatemala, El Salvador, the Dominican Republic, Honduras and the U.S.
She is planning to release a project in English soon to bring the message of salvation in
Christ to even more people.
