Founder and former lead singer of Grammy Award-nominated Big Tent Revival, Steve Wiggins is set to release
Faith That Is Real, his Ardent Records solo debut, on June 18. Wiggins, whose songwriting credits include such classic hits as
“Two Sets of Jones'” and “Choose Life,” among others, penned nine of the album’s 10 selections and co-wrote the title cut along
with Brian Petak.
Produced by John Hampton (Gin Blossoms, Smalltown Poets) and Dana Key, Faith That Is Real features organic,
acoustically-driven songs that center lyrically around the daily discoveries of spiritual life. Selections featured on Faith That Is Real
include “Jesus Is Real”; “You Alone, Are Holy”; “Fill Me Up”; “Telling Everyone”; “Dreamer”; “Far Away,” and the album’s
title-cut, among others.
Following the tenure of Big Tent Revival, Wiggins focused on spending time with his family and becoming more involved with his
Franklin, Tennessee, church. Receiving his pastor’s sermon notes several weeks in advance, Wiggins began composing
theme-oriented songs for use during worship services. Album cuts “Together For The Good,” “Greater Than Angels” and “Living
For The Lord” were originally written for that purpose.
“This album is really a journal of how God brought me and my family through some really tough times,” said Wiggins. “It’s about
hope realized through patience and endurance. I believe the world needs messages of hope, as there seems no foreseeable end to
these tragic times. Still, God continues to encourage His people to hold on, walk by faith, and trust Him.”

listener.”
Kicking-off the album’s release, Ardent will offer a free devotional CD, while supplies last, to consumers who purchase Faith That
Is Real. The bonus CD features 10 audio devotions presented by Wiggins on what it means to have real faith. In addition, the free
CD includes four performance tracks of select cuts from Faith That Is Real and live versions of the hits “Two Sets of Jones'” and
“Choose Life,” performed by Big Tent Revival.
A promotional tour targeting key sales markets is slated prior to the release of Faith That Is Real, as well as e-mail and direct mail
campaigns to the extensive Big Tent Revival database. In addition, a Faith That Is Real Soul2Soul internationally-syndicated radio
special is slated to air in July.
The album’s first single, “Living For The Lord,” was serviced to Christian AC, CHR and Inspirational formats in April.
