Friday, January 26, 2001, the Gospel Music
Association announced Dove Nominees for the year 2001. Malaco Christian
Distribution is pleased to announce nominations for the following artists:
Grammy and Stellar Award winners, James Moore and Dorothy Norwood have both
been nominated for Dove awards in the Traditional Gospel Album of the year
division, for the albums Family & Friends, Live From Detroit, and Ole Rickety
Bridge (Moore and Norwood, respectively).
Dorothy Norwood has also been nominated for Best Traditional Gospel Recorded
Song for the single, “There’s Got to be Rain,” from her album, Ole Rickety
Bridge.
Kudos to The Kry, of Freedom Records for the nomination in the Best Recorded
Music Packaging for their 2000 release,
