The Young Professional’s Class of Christ Presbyterian
Church are “Livin’ la Vida Dios”–livin’ the life of
God–by seeking to take the excitement and truth of
Christian music, by way of Nashville, to the world of
Guadalajara, Mexico.
As all of the churches and ministries of this city begin to
head toward summer missions programs, the Young
Professional’s mission team would like to encourage
everyone to come together as a city to support this project
of taking an American concert to the wealthy community of
Bugamvillias, (a suburb of Guadalajara) and their poverty
stricken neighbors, Santa Ana.
The fundraising concert will be held at Christ Presbyterian
Church on Saturday, May 5 at 7:00. At press time,
confirmed artists are Randall Goodgame who is presently the
opening act for the 30 date Andrew Peterson tour, and
emerging artist, Wile’s End whose passionate and driving
folk rock music will move and soften the hardest of hearts.
Other artists and special guests will be announced at a
later time.
Recording artist Jeni Varnadeau has been added to the lineup of artists for the evening!
The evening will appeal to all ages with a great deal of
variety. The concert is free general admission with a love
offering to be taken. All artists are donating their time
and talents so that all income will go directly to the
Mexico missions trip.
