9/30/00. As you can see from the time this email will be received, it is way past bedtime. I was having trouble sleeping tonight, and decided to check my mail. I found your publication and for the first time found myself with plenty of time to peruse the many articles.
I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it. There were many things that were of interest to me…notably the review of Rachel Lampa, the article about psalms, hymns and spiritual songs and the church chatter joke (which I will pass on to my Pastor!).
I especially was moved by Charlie Peacock’s article. His comments helped me draw into focus my own thoughts about my priorities and my witness.
Thank you for making this publication available. It was truly a blessing to me this evening.
