BeBe Winans at retail stores during holiday season
BeBe Winans is visiting Christian bookstores in four states during the holidays. He will appear in New York City at Christian Publication Bookstore on Saturday, November 18. He then goes to Silver Spring, Maryland to the Potomac Adventist Book Center on Sunday, November 19.
On Friday, December 1, Winans is scheduled at the Moody Bookstore in Chatham Ridge in Chicago. From there, he goes to Maples Heights, Ohio to the Rainbow Family Book Center on Saturday, December 2.
Provident Music Distribution is planning cooperative advertising in each city. Brian Mitchell, Vice-president of marketing, says these in-store appearances will be highly touted.
“Bebe’s sales are very strong in these markets,” says Mitchell, “and retailers are excited to create events to draw more customers for the holiday season.”
Love & Freedom has remained in the top 5 of the General Market Retail sales chart since its release in late September.
BeBe Winans is one of the most accomplished and awarded
singer/songwriter/producers in music today. Since he and his sister, CeCe,
released their first recording in 1987, BeBe has garnered four Grammy
Awards (one as co-producer on THE BODYGUARD soundtrack), ten Dove Awards,
two NAACP Image Awards, six Stellar Awards and one Soul Train Award. As
producer, BeBe has worked with Whitney Houston, Stephanie Mills, Luther
Vandross and Gladys Knight, among others. This is BeBe’s second solo
effort since 1997.
