The book shelves of religious stores are filled with books on spirituality.
The western world is deeply involved in the search for higher meaning. Chief
among the ideas of spirituality is that it is somehow exotic, esoteric, and
not involved with the “bread and butter” of ordinary life. Young adults are
moving from the paranormal to the mystical – from the churchy to the other
worldly – from the New Age to the ancient liturgical. In Jesus we have
spirituality that worked in a carpenter shop, ate meals in the homes of the
poor and the rich, and lived everyday life filled with God.

RESULTS!
I have a friend who, along with a co-management partner, increased the sales
production of the company for whom they work by twenty times in four
years…….from five million gross business to over 100 million annually!
When I asked my friend for his secret, he answered, “See people.â€* That was
his answer……..to simply see and talk with people who need the product
they offer. Now, this principle carries over to the church. We, as
co-laborers with God, need to see people and speak to them about God and
their relationship with him. Do you want to know how? Come to the Introduce
People to Jesus Class which starts Sunday, March 25, at 4:30 in Agape
Classroom. There will be no “Introduce People to Jesus” class on Sunday,
March 18th.
LENTEN LUNCHES
are being held each Wednesday at noon at Tulip Street Methodist Church. Light
lunch provided. Please join us to worship the Lord together during this
Lenten Season.

INVEST IN A MINISTRY
It is imperative that God’s people invest in doing the work and will of our
risen Lord! Each person must find his or her own way of allowing God’s grace
to bless friends and neighbors. So……invest in God’s work, and he will
invest himself into your life and your own personal situation. It is
impossible to out-give God. This is a high-yield opportunity. Seek first
His kingdom and his righteousness…… You can know more by reading Matthew

CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES
DISCOVER YOUR “SHAPE”
Almost two years ago Judy Diehl had her SHAPE interview with Pastor Dale
Benson. They observed that her God-given heart for teens and her gifts of
teaching and encouragement would be those that could fit her to lead a youth
Bible study. She expressed interest in such a ministry, but her commitments
at that time would not permit her involvement. Now, two years later, the time
is right, and God has given Judy the gifts to meet the need.
CHRISTIAN LIFE DEVELOPMENT SERIES
To register for one of the classes in the series, please pick up a brochure
from the Information Center or in your Sunday School class. You may also
register by calling 250-1140, ext 199 or e-mailing Pastor Dale Benson.
