Amagem Records in conjunction with
Kemble Productions (Irvine, CA) are pleased to announce that Gospel
recording artists Gracious Ladies have been selected to represent the United
States Of America in Tirana, Albania at the International Ethno Folk 2000
Celebration to be held October 24-30, 2000.
Gracious ladies were nominated
for a Stellar Gospel Music Award in 1999 for the CD “Take Control”. The
group will perform selections from their current and upcoming CD, as well as
patriotic, traditional and inspirational songs from the United States. They
will be among the six hundred artists from twenty nations who will live,
dance, and sing together for the festive seven day celebration. Other
represented continents participating in the celebration are Europe, Asia,
and Africa. This is believed to be the first time a Christian Gospel group
has ever been allowed to perform in this formerly Communist region of the
world.
This historic event will be broadcast “live” on EuroVision, and
will be seen by an estimated 300 MILLION viewers. Images from the
