Book Series Expands to Seven Titles with Winter Release

How God is identified reveals something about who He is.
The Bible uses hundreds of names, titles, and images to describe God. These
terms are examined in EVERY NAME OF GOD IN THE BIBLE, to be released by
Nelson Reference & Electronic Publishing in January 2001.
EVERY NAME OF GOD IN THE BIBLE offers a comprehensive yet contemporary
treatment of the names of God such as “Yahweh,” “Creator of Heaven and
Earth,” “Fortress,” and numerous others. The book reviews the names, title
and images used for God in both the Old and New Testaments. Separate
chapters focus on the names and titles of Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
Over 75 charts, sidebars, maps, and illustrations add important information
and visual appeal to the book. Historical and social settings are explored
at length, making biblical people and events relevant to today’s culture.
EVERY NAME OF GOD IN THE BIBLE is written by Dr. Larry Richards, author of
over 200 books for children, youth and adults. This will be the seventh in
the “Everything in the Bible” series. Four titles in the series – EVERY
MIRACLE IN THE BIBLE, EVERY PROMISE IN THE BIBLE, EVERY PRAYER IN THE
BIBLE, and EVERY ANGEL IN THE BIBLE – will be released in paperback format
in January. Each title will retail for $14.99 and an end-cap is available
for Christian Bookstores to merchandise the entire set.
Nelson Reference & Electronic Publishing, a division of Thomas Nelson
