Performers for the 17th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards are being lined up. Artists slated to date for the January 12th taping at the Atlanta Civic Center are CeCe Winans, Commissioned Reunion featuring Fred Hammond, Kurt Carr & The Kurt Carr Singers, Shirley Caesar (with Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child) and Lee Williams and the Spiritual QCs. Michelle Williams will also join up with her group, Destiny’s Child to perform the Gospel medley on their current project, Survivor.
Hosting this year’s celebration will be Donnie McClurkin and Yolanda Adams.
Gospel pioneer Albertina Walker will receive the annual James Cleveland Award, given to honor those who have significantly contributed to the Gospel music over the years. Tickets are now on sale onlinehttps://ticketmaster and at all TicketMaster outlets.
