11/15/00Caedmon’s Call tapes one-hour concert special on PAX Television Network
Following the successful release of their
best-selling and critically acclaimed third recording, Long Line of Leavers,
award-winning band Caedmon’s Call has been tapped for an exclusive one-hour
concert special on the PAX Television Network. The special, tentatively
titled “Caedmon’s Call – Live From Houston,” airs Dec. 1, 2000, and is part
of the Entertainment That Counts (ETC on PAX) programming. It will feature
footage from the Caedmon’s Call standing-room-only release week concert in
their hometown of Houston, Texas. The special will also intersperse
interview clips from band members speaking about the new project in between
concert performances.
This is the first full-length television appearance for Caedmon’s Call in
its eight-year career. The Houston concert is a particularly significant
and a personally meaningful concert experience for the band; the venue, 2nd
Baptist Church is the place band members first began performing together.
The ETC on PAX special will allow even more Caedmon’s Call fans to see and
hear this unique concert experience.
The live Houston concert, performed in front of a sold-out crowd of 5,000,
will now reach 60-plus million households via the ETC on PAX TV Network.
ETC is a production of the Christian Network, Inc. (CNI).
