Lipscomb University Presents Nelson Andrews, Rumors

The Lipscomb University Leadership Dialogue Program
presents Nelson Andrews on Oct. 25, at 7:30 p.m. in Swang, Room 108, 3901 Granny White Pike, Nashville.

Andrews is involved with a wide array of multi-family, commercial,
industrial, and retail assets throughout the Southeast United Stated. He
spent seven years in the building supply business followed by eleven years
as president of McClures department store in Nashville. He began Brookside
Properties in 1976 and is recognized throughout the Southeast as a creative
problem-solving manager and a common sense commentator for the real estate
industry.

The Leadership Dialogue program is a lecture series held on the
Lipscomb campus in which outstanding leaders in many fields, exemplifying
the virtues espoused by the Center for Leadership Excellence, will be
invited for public lecture and for informal conversation with students,
faculty, staff and civic friends.

Lipscomb University presents Rumors Nov. 8-11
The Lipscomb University Department of Theater
presents Neil Simon’s Rumors Nov. 8-11 at 7:30 p.m. in University Theater,
located at 3901 Granny White Pike, Nashville. .
The focus of the play is about “how rumors quickly spread and get
out of hand at a party,” said Larry Brown, professor of communication and
theater director. .

The party’s host, a deputy New York City mayor, has shot himself in
the head. He only has a flesh wound but, adding to his troubles, his wife is
missing. His lawyer, a guest, decides it’s time for a cover up. Other guests
start arriving, but soon nobody can remember who has been told what about
whom. .

Admissions to the programs is free. These events are open to the public
and everyone is invited to attend.
Admission is free. No tickets or reservations are required, but arrive
early for Rumors because seating is limited.
