GMA Super Tuesday Event to Focus on Artist-Owned Companies

Super Tuesday coordinators recently announced a special “Backstage Pass” event, focusing on
artist-owned record companies. The event will feature an all–star panel with Michael W. Smith (Rocketown), Toby McKeehan
(Gotee/dc TALK), Peter Furler (inpop/Newsboys) and Mark Stuart (Flicker/Audio Adrenaline).
“Backstage Pass” is part of the ROCK/CHR tracks for GMA Week’s annual Super Tuesday; however, due to promising the
line-up, coordinators are expecting a large industry turn out. Hosted by WAYfm Nashville1s Afternoon Drive personality Marcia
Ware, “Backstage Pass” aims to allow the attendees to sit in on a “backstage” discussion with these artists as they share their vision,
their purpose, and the challenges they face as active artists who also own record companies.
“Our goal with all Super Tuesday events is to serve radio in every way we can to help them not only enjoy GMA Week, but give
them opportunities to learn more about the industry and artists they serve on their broadcasts each day,” Donna DelSesto, Super
Tuesday’s NACRR Chairperson. “Backstage Pass is something special that we feel will be a highlight of their week, and really give
them an exclusive look at the heart of these artists and their record companies.”
“Backstage Pass” will be held from 3pm-4:20pm on Tuesday, April 24, in a Nashville Convention Center location to be announced soon.
