Doubts and Truths

Doubts really do come along, and sometimes they’re easy to believe and sometimes you wonder where God really is. The best decision I made for
myself when I was a teenager was to find God for myself and not through
my parents or friends. But for ME. Because at the end of the day, it
wasn’t my family or my friends who were holding my hand as I stood on
the edge of the water over 4 years ago during the darkest moment of my
life, when I was told my husband of 11 years was dead. But it was
Jesus. I was alone and scared and I embraced the promise at that exact
moment in my life that He would never leave me. Yet,
I had a great excuse to doubt the Lord in that moment. And everyone
would probably say I had every right to doubt the hand of God.
Honestly, I didn’t understand anything and why this had happened to me
and to Trent, but I never doubted God’s love for me OR for Trent. And
I think that’s because I genuinely new God loved and cared for me so
much and I had a real relationship with Jesus at that time.
Today I challenge you — give God’s promises a second look. Consider
that God really is loving and caring. That He really does exist and
has an individual purpose for your hand picked life. After all, why
believe in an empty Universe. Study daily what you believe and find
out what that is for yourself. It’s your spiritual life. Fight for
it. It’s Ok to doubt, but what we do with that will determine our
future ultimately. Eternity. That is our future.
Scripture: Jude 1:20-22 But you, beloved, build yourselves up in your
most holy faith; pray in the Holy Spirit; keep yourselves in the love
of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to
eternal life. And have mercy on those who doubt.
QUESTION; Why do you doubt sometimes?

QUESTION: Do you know what God’s promises are to you?

If you don’t, I encourage you to find those out for yourself today.
After all, this is YOUR relationship with Jesus. You don’t have to
stand on the side lines. You get to play in this game. And trust me,
you score and you win big!!!
