For the first time in Sparrow Radio history, “Live Out Loud,” the first radio single from Steven Curtis Chapman’s upcoming recording Declaration, debuted last week at #10 on AC Radio. The highly anticipated project releases September 25th.
Chapman just returned from headlining two major radio festivals this weekend – Celebrate Freedom, KLTY’s annual event in Dallas and KXOJ’s Freedom Live in Tulsa. Both events combined were attended by more than 150,000 fans. He will be heading to Atlanta this weekend to participate in the Christian Booksellers (CBA) Convention. Chapman will debut new songs from Declaration for attending retailers at the Saturday evening concert and a retailer reception scheduled to follow.
An unprecented ten-week pre-sell campaign for Declaration begins on July 16th at participating CBA retailers, giving consumers the opportunity to pre-purchase Declaration and receive the new single early. With the pre-purchase of Declaration, consumers receive an exclusive CD including the new single “Live Out Loud” in two versions (Radio Mix and Parade Mix), along with a previous Chapman hit, “Treasure Of You” (Vintage UK Mix), recorded live at Abbey Road Studios in London, and “Make A Declaration,” an exclusive interview with Chapman and producer Brown Bannister, which was recorded in the studio during the making of Declaration.
