I am rejoicing, rejoicing
for I can gladly say,
Lord Jesus Christ has risen
on this Resurrection Day.
Three days before this happened
when His own life He gave,
He was crucified and buried
and lay in a borrowed grave.
Today is so much better!
Oh, the joy that this day brings,
for Lord Jesus Christ is risen
and He is the King of kings.
We all should be rejoicing
with humble happy hearts,
for Lord Jesus Christ is risen
and salvation He imparts .
Nothing could be finer
than the blessing we receive
for eternal life in heaven
when we simply just believe.
So precious is this blessing
that all the world should pray,
for Lord Jesus Christ is risen
on this Resurrection Day.1/19/6
