It was a battle of North vs. South when WMSJ’s morning show, Colford and Company, did a collaborative show with WHMX’s (Bangor, ME) TC in the Morning. Each station held separate WoW Us With Your Talent contests, and on March 21st Christopher from Hartford, Maine and Tom from Dover-Foxcroft, Maine competed for the State-Wide title, performing a song of their choice from the WoW Hits 2005 Disk. Listeners voted for their favorite online. March 22nd, Christopher was announced as the Maine State-Wide WoW Us With Your Talent Champion.

WMSJ was WoWed by listeners talent, this February, in our 4th WoW Us With Your Talent Contest. Listeners from across Maine and New Hampshire submitted their version of a WoW Hits 2005 song for a chance to receive a private recording session at Baked Beans Recording Studio, plus a WoW Brick of CDs. Nine finalists performed on WMSJ’s morning show, Colford and Company, and listeners voted for their favorite on-line. Christopher from Hartford, ME was the Grand Prize winner with his version of “Here With Me” by Mercy Me.
