Peace Crusade to Be Broadcast live around the World

On Saturday June 15, K. A. Paul, the founder and president of Global Peace Initiative, will appeal to Heads of States and Religious
Leaders of all faiths and denominations across the Globe in a Day of Fasting and Prayer for world peace on June 15, 2002. This
historic event will be broadcast live from Madras, India and will be joined in spirit with locations all around the world. An ex-Hindu pastor
who continues to reach out into his homeland of India, Dr. Paul has since founded the ministry which has grown to global proportions
to dignify every human being with peace, good health, security, and social justice. The number of people who personally hear Dr.
Paul’s message of service to one’s neighbor has grown to more than 10,000,000 annually—an audience of historic proportions.
Working to bring relief to millions of widows, orphans and street children around the world and with over 110,000 women who are part
of his worldwide “Little Teresa Program” which started from his work with the late Mother Teresa, Dr. Paul will establish the Global Day
of Prayer for Peace on Saturday, June 15, 2002 from 7 a.m. – 9a.m. EST.
People in Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, North and South America as well as the former Prime Minister of India will be joining K.A. Paul
to deliver a message of hope for world peace. The peace rally will highlight 30 men who will lead the world in moments of prayer and
silence for the following:
World leaders
Victims of violence and terrorism around the world.
War between India and Pakistan as it threatens tens of millions of people
Ongoing war in the Middle East as it is affecting nations around the world
Africa ‘s multiple wars and rampant spread of disease
U.S. governors and other leaders around the world proclaimed last November 3 a day of prayer and fasting to be observed by all of
their people. Dr. Paul, with International Christian Leaders, led a crowd of a million people in Nigeria as well as people from hundreds
of thousands of locations worldwide in 10 prayers for peace and justice.
Global Peace Initiative (GPI) is devoted to mobilizing grassroots movements within communities—especially those in developing
countries—to resolve conflicts and local human crises with practical, community-based solutions. For more information visitwww.globalpeacenow.com
