Low He lay, Jesus Christ
Still upon the hay.
Not a word from Him they heard
As all looked down that day.
High He hung, Jesus Christ
Still upon the cross.
Not a word from Him they heard
As all looked up, in loss.
Silently, the Christ was born
And silently He died.
Except for cries to God above,
In stillness, love replied.
Love replied without a word;
His actions told the story.
From time unto eternity,
He’s still loving us to glory.
