Lipscomb University presents Jazz Band and Vocal Ensemble, University Concert Band

The Lipscomb University Music Department presents
the Jazz Band and Vocal Ensemble Feb. 25 at 6:30 p.m. in Shamblin Theatre,
located in the Student Center, 3901 Granny White Pike, Nashville.

The Jazz Band will perform A Time for Love by Johnny Mandel and P.F.
Webster, Prime Time by Sammy Nestico, Rooster Parade by Les Hooper, In Her
Family by Pat Metheney, Bunch of Blues by Les Hooper, Send in the Clowns by
Stephen Sondheim, and I’m Beginning to See the Light by Rory Bourke.

The Jazz Vocal Ensemble will perform Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye with words
and music by Cole Porter and arranged by Paris Rutherford; How High the Moon
arranged by Steve Zegree; And All That Jazz with words by Fred Ebb, music by
John Kander, and arranged by Kirby Shaw, Tuxedo Junction with words by Buddy
Feyne, music by Erskine Hawkins, William Johnson and Julian Dash, and
arranged by Jerry Nowak, Call Me Irresponsible with words by Sammy Cahn and
James Van Heusen and arranged by Robert Sterling.
The Lipscomb University Music Department presents
the University Concert Band Feb. 24 at 8 p.m. in Collins Alumni Auditorium,
3901 Granny White Pike, Nashville.

The University Concert Band will perform The Promise of Living by
Aaron Copland, Florentiner March by Julius Jucik, I’m Seventeen Come Sunday
by Percy Grainger, and Rienzi Overture by Richard Wagner.
