Jaci Velasquez
Along with her recent Grammy nomination for Latin Pop Album of the Year, Jaci Velasquez has been nominated in three categories for Premio Lo Nuestro Awards, honoring Latin music. Jaci is a nominee for Album of the Year, for Mi Corazon, Song of the Year for “Como Se Cura Una Herida” and Female Artist of the Year (a nomination she shares with Christina Aguilera) as well as a featured presenter. Fans can watch the award show on UNIVISION on February 7th. More Jaci below!

The guys from Salvador are looking forward to a trip to New Zealand this week. Traveling on behalf of World Vision, they will be abroad for almost two weeks, making stops to perform at the Parachute Festival, Christ Church on the South Island and Beaumont Centre in Auckland.

Last Sunday evening, friends and labelmates AMY GRANT and Fernando Ortega shared their forthcoming music with sales representatives from their label home, Word Records, as a highlight of this week’s sales conference in Nashville, TN. Ortega, with a full band, filled the famous Ocean Way Studio’s sanctuary with new songs from his next album, Storm, to release Feb. 5th. Ortega’s new Contemporary Praise Single “Light Of Heaven” garnered 8 Adds this week. More than 66% of reporters added the song the first 2 weeks out!
1/07/02 One Voice Records Latin pop recording artist Freddie Colloca has been busy in the studio recording his sophomore project, Unconditional , with veteran Christian music industry producer Don Koch (4Him, NewSong) and acclaimed Latin producer Hal Batt (Julio Iglesias, Chayanne, Shakira). Colloca recently premiered music from the project to rave reviews at the Provident Music Distribution showcase held during last month¹s sales conference in Nashville, TN.
Unconditional is slated for release on April 16, 2002.
1/04/02 Jaci Velasquez was recently nominated for a GRAMMY Award for “Pop/Latin Album of the Year” for MI CORAZON.
