Although DOWNHERE is preparing to leave for the Resonate Tour across the United States, the music industry in Canada, their home country, continues to celebrate this band. In addition to a “New Artist of the Year” Dove Award nomination in America, DOWNHERE has also been nominated for a Juno Award for “Best Gospel Album” from the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. Juno recipient the Barenaked Ladies will host the sold out event April 14th in downtown St. John’s, Newfoundland.
DOWNHERE will leave this weekend along with SonicFlood and James Ingram for the Resonate Tour kick-off in Columbus, Ohio. Fans bought out the house so quickly for the opening concert of this national tour, the groups added a second Columbus show to the schedule for the following evening. The bands are now looking forward to launching the Resonate Tour with two back to back sold out events.
