Well-known speaker and author Bruce Marchiano was the keynote speaker at this year’s Pierce County Prayer Breakfast at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington. Marchiano addressed a crowd of 1,700 that included several state and national political leaders, members of the Bush administration, business executives, pastors and others. Marchiano shared his personal testimony and led the audience through the prayer of salvation. He was well received at the breakfast, and many of the audience members expressed their gratitude to him for his message.
Marchiano¹s most recent book, “Jesus Wept,” was recently released by Howard Publishing. In the book, Marchiano answers the question that many people ask – Where is God when I hurt? Written in response to his experiences following 9/11, “Jesus Wept” reminds readers that even Jesus suffered with grief. Marchiano is also featured on the accompaniment CD to “Jesus Wept,” I Could Not Love You More. The CD includes spoken vignettes by Marchiano and songs by Margaret Becker, Natalie Grant, Kelly Minter, Carman, Detour 180, Parachute Band, Among Thorns and others.
