7/28/02 Joy Williams recently performed at the Monday Morning Devotions at CBA International 2002 in Anaheim, Calif., where she had the chance to meet the morning’s speaker, Franklin Graham. Later that week, after signing autographs at the Provident Music Distribution booth, Joy met one of her favorite authors, Beth Moore (“Breaking Free,” “A Heart Like His”) (see attached image). Michael W. Smith recently recorded his second live praise and worship album, Worship Again, on July 19, with 11,000 people at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Ky. The album is set to release on October 22, and will include the Rich Mullins-penned “Step by Step” and “I See You.”
NewSong recently lead the chapel service at the NASCAR Pepsi 400 at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Fla. Over 250 drivers and crewmembers were in attendance at the chapel service held prior to the race on Saturday morning.

Superchic[k]’s “One Girl Revolution” was the opening theme of “Cadet Kelly” on ABC’s “The Wonderful World of Disney” July 14. The band’s songs have been in more than 30 films and TV programs.
