A Gray, Gray Christmas: Jason Gray Announces Tour

It will be a Gray, Gray Christmas when Christian artist Jason Gray once again brings holiday cheer to fans across the country, when he launches the 2nd annual Christmas Stories Tour on December 4. Gray will be performing songs from his 2012 holiday album, “Christmas Stories: Repeat The Sounding Joy,” that presents a deeper story celebrating the birth of Christ, while focusing on the details inside the Christmas narrative.
“I’ve been blessed to share my songs and be a part of things I would never have even thought to hope for when I set out on this journey,” says Gray who began building a loyal fanbase as an independent artist. “But of everything I’ve done, I get the most excited about my Christmas tour and telling the story of the incarnation in a way that I hope feels both holy and human. I’m excited to get to have my sons out with me again, as well as Centricity’s newest artist, Lauren Daigle, as my special guest. Lauren sang on the “Nothing Is Wasted” single and has one of the most stunning voices I’ve ever heard. I’m excited for you to join us as we celebrate Christmas together!”
Audiences can also expect Gray to perform his new radio single, “With Every Act Of Love,” that is #25 on Billboard’s NCA chart, #23 on the AC Monitored Chart and #16 on AC Indicator after only three weeks of airplay. The 10-city tour will also feature new Centricity artist, Lauren Daigle, who will be performing her debut single, the Christmas anthem “Light of the World.”
Gray recorded two independent projects before signing with Centricity Music and releasing his first national CD in 2007, “All The Lovely Losers.” The project received rave reviews and was heralded as one of the top albums of that year. Gray’s sophomore project, Everything Sad Is Coming Untrue firmly established him has a solid artist in the Christian music genre. The album brought Gray his highest-charting single at #4, “More Like Falling In Love,” and the song garnered Gray his first ASCAP Performance Award in 2011. In 2012, Gray released “A Way To See In Dark” that resulted in two Top 5 singles that year with “Remind Me Who I Am” and “Good To Be Alive,” with the latter song earning Gray his second ASCAP Performance Award. In May 2013, the third single from “A Way To See In Dark” garnered Gray his first #1 song with, “Nothing Is Wasted,” on the Soft AC chart.
Gray remains an active touring artist, who has toured/performed with such acts as Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, Sanctus Real, The Afters, Andrew Peterson, among many others. He is currently on Steven Curtis Chapman’s The Glorious Unfolding Tour with Laura Story, which concludes on November 24th in Eau Claire, WI. Gray has also been busy in the studio recording his new Centricity Music album, Love Will Have The Final Word that releases March 4, 2014.
