Zondervan, the world’s largest Bible publisher, has partnered with Flicker Records to provide True Image Revolution, a compilation CD featuring some of Christian music’s top artists, including Rebecca St. James, ZOEgirl, Everyday Sunday, The Swift, Superchic[k] and Audio Adrenaline. The record will serve as a companion product for Zondervan’s newest Bibles, True Images: the Bible for Teen Girls (13-16) and Revolution: the Bible for Teen Guys (13-16), created in partnership with Chicago-based Livingstone to directly and honestly address real-world issues facing today’s teens.
The True Image Revolution CD compilation will be sold alongside the Bibles and features ten hit songs such as “Good Life” by Audio Adrenaline, “Speak To Me” by Rebecca St. James and ZOEgirl’s “Living For You,” along with two new songs, “Revolution” from The Swift and “I Am” from Erin O’Donnell. These two latter songs will also be featured on an exclusive two-song CD included with a special leather edition of both the True Images and Revolution Bibles.

True Images and Revolution are two feature-rich Bibles that directly and honestly address the hardcore, real-world issues teens 13-16 face today with a voice they can relate to. Both Bibles were developed after extensive research aimed at understanding the messages today’s teens are hearing. Each Bible combines the readability of the best-selling NIV translation with many special features.
“Today’s teens are bombarded with harmful messages each day from movies, magazines, TV and the net,” said Paul Caminiti, Zondervan’s vice president and associate publisher of Bibles. “It is vitally important that they build a solid, spiritual foundation, a strong sense of what they believe in and what they will take a stand for. Our partnership with Flicker records will allow teens to receive through music and the Bible the positive message of hope they so desperately need.”
Zondervan and Flicker will support the release of the CD and two Bibles with an intensive promotional campaign, including floor displays, merchandising kits, product samplers, bag stuffers, cross-promotional piece and flyer placements, as well as a national print and radio advertising campaign. In addition, Youth Specialties has endorsed both Bibles and will serve as a marketing partner, creating awareness of the Bibles among its large audience of more than 100,000 youth workers through YS conferences around the country and other communication vehicles. Supporting products are also being developed for the Bibles and will be available this fall, including a True Images bracelet for girls and a Revolution key ring for guys designed and produced by Bob Siemon Designs.
