I am a collector of quotes and little tidbits. While spring is in the air and most of us have probably tucked away our winter coats for good, I thought it appropriate to celebrate by sharing a few curious, little quotes from my journal. So, here goes it:
The average pencil is 7 inches long, with just a half-inch eraser–in case you thought optimism was dead. -Robert Brault
God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today. Have you used one to say “thank you?” -William Arthur Word
Prayer may not change things for you, but it sure changes you for things.-Samuel Shoemaker
Do not have your concert first and tune your instruments afterwards. Begin the day with God.-James Hudson Taylor
I just wrote a song called, “You Inspire Me.” I am often inspired by the beauty of nature and Creation. The other day I woke up early at that time of morning when the sun is just starting to come out and there’s a little bit of pink in the sky. So, that became my opening lyric . . . “Today, I’m wearing pink and it’s all because the sunrise came and it made me think of You . . .” Thank You, Lord, for waking us up each morning with a world of possibilities and another day to be ours. You are Spring to me . . .
