NOTICE: Some of these events are NOT necessarily an official part of Gospel Music Week nor are they all sanctioned by the Gospel Music Association. We are just providing an unofficial lisiting of various music events open to the public, that are going on in Nashville the same time as and/or Gospel Music Week.
The Gospel Music Association is offering an Associates Track. It is a lower registration and is designed for the general public who have an interest in possibly working in Christian music or are employed part time. Gospel Music Week — Monday, April 23, and Tuesday, April 24, 5:00pm-6:30pm both days at Seanachie’s, directly across
Broadway from the convention center (which means it’s about a 5 minute walk). .

Denver & The Mile High
Orchestra — new album “Act the Scat.” They are an amazing Big Band
style group, playing everything from Jazz/Swing to Pop and Dixieland. They will be performing a full concert Wednesday April
25th at 8:00pm. The concert will be held at the First Baptist Church outdoor
courtyard on Broadway. This is located directly across Broadway from the
convention center and right next to the Gaylord Entertainment Center
(Nashville Arena). This showcase is free and open to the public. You do not
have to be involved with GMA to attend.

Special Live Doves Telecast Viewing at Opryland Hotel- Delta Ballroom A. The pre-show starts at 5:30 pm, and the Televised Show starts at 8:00 pm. General Admission to the show is $22. Tickets will be good for both: Pre Dove Show – 5:30 PM-7: 30PM and Dove Awards Show – 8:00PM-10: 00PM. Doors open at 5PM. (Cash Concessions available for Purchase).
