Rudy Brewbaker lived quite a full life. Yet, she suffered many heartaches along the way, such as her father’s death when she was 17 and finding out she couldn’t have children of her own. But, she also had a determined spirit and God had other plans for her.
She adopted both a girl and a boy that she raised to adulthood, her daughter adopting two children from China. She thought her motherhood days were over till she felt her heart calling her to go with a group from her church on a trip to Russia. What transpired there is nothing short of a miracle. A young girl named Olga met her on that first day visit in an orphanage where she lived and touched Rudy’s heart. Thinking she was close to retirement and too old to raise another child, God revealed his plans to her that included Olga in her future.
