The Empty Hands Fellowship is hosting a Worship & Reflection Celebration for Williamson & Davidson County Communities. The Celebration will feature music reflecting area churches within the community and area pastors will reflect upon the words Jesus taught on the mountainside. Pastor Hewitt Sawyers of West Harpeth Primitive Baptist Church, Pastor Jose Duran of La Casa De Mi Padre, Pastor Denny Denson of First Missionary Baptist Church (Franklin), Pastor Scotty Smith of Christ Community Church, and Pastor Chris Williamson of Strong Tower Bible Church bring encouraging words to stir our hearts to worship. Plus! Choir members from the church and praise team members will lead powerful songs you are familiar with and not so familiar with. So come and be stretched by participating in the community choir or during the service the night of worship and reflection.
The event is scheduled for Sunday, April 18th, from 6:30-9:00 p.m. at Christ Community Church, 1215 Hillsboro Road, Franklin, TN 37069.
This event is sponsored by the Empty Hands Fellowship. Five pastors began meeting every Wednesday morning at McDonalds for fellowship and Thursday morning for prayer. Their purpose was simple: to seek unity, reconciliation, and encouragement for themselves and the churches in their community as unto Jesus Christ. Since its inception, Empty Hands Fellowship has been committed to several community projects and events that are consistent with its mission statement and objectives. Currently work has begun on the “Carrie Wilson House Project”. This committee’s vision is to see several properties in Hard Bargain, starting with the Carrie Wilson House Project, revitalized in order to offer affordable housing to low income residents and to maintain the history and community that has been in existence here for over 100 years. A free will offering will be taken in honor of the “Carrie Wilson House Project”
