~ Romans 1:20– God’s invisible qualities revealed in nature ~
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
Romans 1:20 (NIV)
God’s Wrath Against the Wicked
18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
In these verses the apostle Paul is pointing out a concept found throughout scripture that nature itself reveals God’s invisible qualities–His power and divinity. He has given us free will to follow whom or what we want, but He reveals Himself to us over and over. Foolish is the man who does not choose to follow the Creator God, beacause he has no excuse.
