GMA Hall of Fame Inductee and former member of the Imperials, Pam Morales-Dietz, was fatally injured in a car accident on Saturday, August 27, 2005. Pam was the sister of founding member of the Imperials, Armond Morales, and aunt of current member, Jason Morales. Morales-Deitz had the distinction of being the only female member of The Imperials in the group’s 42-year history.
On Saturday, October 22nd, the Canadian Gospel Music Association will host the 27th annual Covenant Awards at the McVety Center in Toronto. Tommy Hunter will be receiving this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Other artists scheduled to appear include Amanda Falk, The Master’s Four, Carried Away, Gaetz Ave, Black Talon, Patricia Shirley, Canadian Idol’s Shane Wiebe, N.I.F.T.Y., Cheryl Dunn.
