‘VeggieTales: Lord of the Beans’

Just in time for the holidays, Big Idea, Inc. delivers VeggieTales: Lord of the Beans, a story that kids and parents can enjoy together about gifts and how to use what we have to help others. Starring Junior Asparagus as Toto Baggypants, the title is served up on DVD and VHS Oct. 29 and Nov. 1 in the CBA and general markets respectively. Lord of the Beans targets both the Christian and general consumer markets and may appeal to fans of the The Lord of the Rings.
Lord of the Beans follows the fantastic journey of a Flobbit named Toto Baggypants (Junior Asparagus) who inherits a most unusual and powerful bean. With the help of his mentor Randalf and a spirited group of friends, Toto embarks on a mission to discover the purpose for which his gift should be used. On their quest, the group encounters many challenges, including crossing the mountains of Much-Snowia and facing the dreaded Lord Scaryman – who seeks the bean for misguided, selfish reasons. Will Toto discover the purpose of his gift, or will the scary dude and his Spork army capture the bean and wield its awesome powers? Find out in Lord of the Beans.
The Lord of the Beans release, which celebrates family, friendship, forgiveness and thankfulness, features popular recording artist Wynonna Judd singing the theme song, “It’s About Love.” Jam-packed with loads of family friendly bonus features, and a brand new “Silly Songs with Elves,” the title has a pre-order date of Oct. 4, with a $14.99 SRP for DVD and $12.99 for VHS.
