The Tyndale Centre for Leadership at Tyndale University College & Seminary has announced a major conference for Pastors and Christian leaders with well known keynote speakers Dallas Willard, Gordon MacDonald, and Larry Crabb beginning Monday March 13th through Wednesday March 15th, 2006. This three-day event called Revive Your Soul, offers pastors and leaders a unique opportunity for an intimate level of personal, spiritual renewal and interaction with the speakers and with each other. Participants will have an opportunity to discover the importance of personal spiritual health to their ministry and will experience a holistic approach to spiritual well-being through lessons taught by our internationally known guests.
Conference features include corporate worship, intimate peer learning groups, peer group break-outs, worship and music with special guests Bob and Brenda Cottrill and the North Park Worship Band, a Trade Fair and book store to help equip leaders on their spiritual journey.
Revive Your Soul is for all ministry leaders and pastors but especially for those who find themselves in need of some spiritual nourishment after years of giving themselves sacrificially to others. Guest speakers include Dallas Willard from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, author of The Divine Conspiracy, selected Christianity Today’s “Book of the Year” for 1999, and The Spirit of the Disciplines . Willard will speak on the topic “Christian Ministry as Life in the Easy Yoke”; Gordon MacDonald, Senior Minister from Grace Chapel in Lexington, Massachusetts will address the topic “The Private Side of a Public Person.” His best known book, Ordering Your Private World, won the Gold Medallion and the Platinum Awards from the Evangelical Christian Publishing Association; and Larry Crabb, founder and president of New Way Ministries and distinguished scholar in Residence at the Colorado Christian University. Crabb is also the author of books including “Soul Talk”, “Inside Out” “The Pressure’s Off”, “Shattered Dreams” and “Finding God”.
