ph. 6:4

Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the Lord.

(exasperate = to irritate or annoy very much, disturb or irritation in a very nagging way. Know God's Word, stand firm
on the direction that God leads you as a parent, be consistent and follow through.)

Proverbs 22:15

Folly is bound up in the heart of the child, but the *rod of discipline will drive it far from him.

(*rod= shepherds rod-staff-stick, used by the shepherd to gently discipline his stray sheep by guiding, or hooking
them back into the flock. An instrument for; training, implementing authority over the sheep, "spanking" if
you will. Not for abuse but used with love, care and Godly wisdom!)

Ps. 103:17-18

But from everlasting to everlasting the Lords love is with those who fear him, and his
righteousness with their children's children-with those who keep his covenant and remember to
obey his precepts.

Colo. 1:10-12

And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way:
bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all
power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and
joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the
saints in the kingdom of light.

Ps. 92:12-15

The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the
house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will bear fruit in old age, they
will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, ?The Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no
wickedness in him.?

Ps. 144:12

Then our sons in their youth will be well-nurtured, and our daughters will be like pillars.

Isaiah 40:28-31

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends
of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom, He
gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow weary, and
young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will
soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.
