The newest offering from this highly talented artist is the first between her label Pure Springs Gospel and INO Records. This masterful collection of sixteen tracks glorifying the Lord will lead you through an awesome worship experience. Broken up into two sections, “Songs of Worship and Reflection” and “Songs of Praise and Adoration”, the CD will no doubt inspire you to draw nearer to God.
Beginning this worship experience is a lush orchestral interlude, which then leads into the acoustic-driven “Jesus, You’re Beautiful”. The title track soon follows, along with a take on the classic hymn “How Great Thou Art”. After a couple more songs of reflection, the first half of the disc closes with “Hallelujah To The King”. This simple song of worship is one of my favorites on the disc. The second half of Throne Room picks the musical pace up a bit with several of the tracks. These include the R&B flavored “Come Fill My Heart”, the mid-tempo groove of “All In Your Name”, the funky ‘No One Else”, the island-flavored “Just Like You” and the all out thumpin’ Gospel of “Hallelujah Praise”. Standouts on the disc include the previously mentioned “How Great Thou Art”, “No One Else”, “Hallelujah Praise” and “Mercy Said No”.
Showcasing CeCe’s passion for worshiping the Lord, Throne Room is an awe-inspiring collection of songs giving all glory to Him. With CeCe being a talent to be reckoned with, this CD will please both her new and old fans alike. I hope you love this one as much as I do! It’s a worship experience you won’t soon forget.
As an added feature, copies of Throne Room come with a bonus DVD. This DVD (which contains just under a half-hour of content) takes you behind the scenes during the making of Throne Room, as well as on tour with this talented artist. You’ll also be treated to complete performances of “Alabaster Box”, “More Than What I Wanted” and “No One”. This one is definitely the best bonus DVD released this year!
