‘They Walked With Him’ Now Available

“They Walked With Him,” by best-selling author Donna VanLiere, is now available at retail outlets nationwide from Howard Publishing. A look at the 12 men who knew Him best, the book examines the personal side of those directly connected to Jesus during His time on earth.
“They Walked With Him” features character sketches of Jesus’ disciples and explores how their lives were changed by His command, “Follow me.” Each chapter focuses on a different disciple or significant event in Jesus’ ministry and also features a practical devotion, entitled “Your Walk With Him,” for personal application.
“When we were presented Donna VanLiere’s initial ideas for ‘They Walked With Him,’ we immediately understood her purpose and vision for this book,” said Denny Boultinghouse, executive editor, Howard Publishing. “Donna’s engaging style and ability to paint vivid word pictures truly brings to life the hearts of the men closest to Jesus. We are honored to publish ‘They Walked With Him’ and believe the book can inspire all of us to be radically impacted by a personal relationship with Jesus.”
“Through ‘They Walked With Him,’ I hope readers will want to discover the blessings God has for them,” said VanLiere. “The blessings of being used in unbelievable ways; the blessings of God’s love and grace; and the undeniable blessing of knowing that God can even use ordinary people like us!”
VanLiere is the author of “Sheltering Trees: The Power, Promise and Refuge of Friendship” (Howard Publishing) and the best-selling “The Christmas Shoes” (St. Martin’s Press).
