This Tuesday, August 30, Kirk Franklin will be hosting “The Takeover”, a special back to school youth ministry explosion that is being taped for airing on TBN. Kirk’s featured guests will be Ron & Katy Luce (founders of Teen Mania), Pastor Jamal Harrison Bryant (Pastor, Empowerment Temple), Pastor Anthony Myers (Youth Pastor, The Potter’s House), Pastor Daven Baptiste (Youth Pastor, Faithful Central Bible Church), Von Minor (Youth Pastor, Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship) and Fatima Hall (founder and publisher, IMAGE Magazine). In addition to live music from Kirk Franklin, there will also be live performances by Kierra “Kiki” Sheard, Mary Mary, Tye Tribbett and The Potter’s House Fire House Youth Choir.
“The Takeover” taping will take place at Trinity Christian Church located at 3000 W Airport Freeway in Irving, TX. Doors open at 5:00pm and the taping begins at 7:00pm. This event is free and open to the public. A special invitation is being extended to local youth pastors, youth workers and the youth that they serve. Come prepared to be enriched, entertained and empowered! There are only 2500 free seats available, so get there early!
