The Royal Royal is a partnership of brothers, Nathan and Gabriel Finochio, who write songs, lead worship and emerge from the studio with a bag full of musical paradox. If you want the one-liner, then this is it: The Royal Royal plays at the intersection of new sounds and ancient truths.
Nathan and Gabriel grew up as pastor’s kids and attended Portland’s City Bible College. The brothers recognize that their upbringing gave them an understanding of the power of music influenced by James Taylor, Steely Dan and Stevie Wonder.
Their first album “Royalty” debuted in October 2012 at No. 15 on the Christian iTunes chart. Their second album “The Return of the King” will release in March 2014 with The Paradigm Collective.
