The Foundation United, a leading nonprofit organization on mission to end human trafficking and exploitation, joins the list of ‘21 Leaders for the 21st Century,’ among other notable leaders and organizations.

“It is an absolute honor to be among these leaders who are making a difference in our world through their organizations,” The Foundation United CEO and founder Elizabeth Fisher Good said. “I am grateful that they share similar passions as I do, especially when it comes to empowering and meeting the needs of others, through their various resources and programs.”

The award-winning, non-profit news organization Women’s eNews provides exclusive coverage of the most crucial issues impacting women and girls around the world. Each year, the company selects and votes on organizations making a positive impact on society, culture and the entire world, specifically highlighting support for gender equality. Women’s eNews announced the first seven honorary inductees in June.

The Foundation United exists to help educate, provide care and protect those at-risk or who’ve been personally exposed to human trafficking. The core pillars of the organization include “provision,” “prevention” and “protection.” “SPEAK UP” and “REAL TALK” programs are essential programs within the prevention pillar, which empower children and adults to talk openly about difficult topics, such as child sexual abuse, which is the root of sex trafficking.

Fisher Good is a leader and expert in preventing childhood sexual abuse. With over a decade of experience working with childhood abuse and sex trafficking survivors, she has had a powerful and undeniable impact on thousands, through the work of her organization and personal objectives.

“Over the past several years, we have created programs and partnerships which systemically get to the root of sexual exploitation. Our pillars provide training to prevent innocent children from being targeted by predators, empower our front-line protectors, and bring healing to survivors of sexual exploitation and trauma,” Fisher Good said. “My hope is to get ahead of this issue that’s affecting millions, and completely eradicate the problem of sex trafficking and exploitation.”
