The Australian Gospel Music Festival

Toowoomba hosts Australia’s largest Christian music festival with more than 130 acts, and plenty of family activities 25-27 March 2005.
The Australian Gospel Music Festival, or AGMF as it is affectionately known, offers a celebration of faith, friendship and music for thousands of Christians over Easter.
International names performing at this year’s festival include double-Dove winners Sonicflood, Delirious, Brooke Fraser, Lads, plus CCM legends David Meece, Chuck Girard, and Grammy Award winners, Petra.
Aussie acts include Reuben Morgan, Nathan Tasker, United, Planetshakers Band, Sons of Korah, Alabaster Box, Soulframe, and Roma Waterman.
AGMF Organiser Isaac Moody says Queen’s Park in Toowoomba is “the ideal location to host Australia’s largest Christian music festival”.
“The festival accommodates 12 stages including the 96five main stage located in a 10 000 seat grassy amphitheatre right in the middle of beautiful Toowoomba, the Nourish Music Big Top which is the biggest tent you’ve ever seen, plus a series of smaller indoor and outdoor acoustic venues,” Isaac says.
Christians can also celebrate their faith while enjoying a host of attractions including the X Box challenge, Robinsons Circus, KAOS Freestyle Motorcross, movies, karaoke, a celebrity cricket match and a sideshow alley – plenty of stuff to keep everyone entertained.
Tickets are available by phoning 1800 66 55 11 or visiting www.agmf.com.au
Camping and motel accommodation is still available.
Toowoomba is located 90 minutes drive from Brisbane’s international and domestic airport terminals. Buses run from Brisbane’s Roma Street transit centre in Brisbane to Toowoomba. McCafferty’s bus terminal is opposite the festival site.
