‘Thanks’ to caring saints this day
who comfort those in mourning
‘Thanks’ to God who gives away
new mercies every morning.
‘Thanks’ to those who meet a need
for someone else today.
‘Thanks’ to all who pray �God speed�
and give in thoughtful ways.
‘Thanks’ to those who feed the poor,
who give themselves to others.
‘Thanks’ to soldiers off to war.
Defending home and brothers.
‘Thanks’ to those who clothe the needy,
who give with nothing spared.
‘Thanks’ to all who spend so freely
of every blessing shared.
‘Thanks’ to those who keep us safe
who risk themselves for us.
‘Thanks’ to those who bless this place
with courage, faith and trust.
‘Thanks’ to those who minister
to body, soul and spirit.
‘Thanks’ for prayers whispered,
knowing God above will hear it.
‘Thanks’ for health and healing
that our Lord so freely gives.
‘Thanks’ for smiles revealing
that joy in Jesus ever lives.
1 Thessalonians 5:18″ in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
