This week Life.Church has been celebrating the incredible response to the album “Symphony” by Switch which released a year ago on Dream records. The mother church in a Oklahoma City had a photo booth set up in the lobby with a celebration planned for later in the week.
“Symphony” is performed by Switch, a collective of worship leaders from the multi-site church which meets at 32 locations in 10 states as well as globally at Life.Church online. The name Switch is taken from the weekly Wednesday night ministry at Life.Church for students in 6th -12th grade.
The title song, (featuring rapper Dillon Chase) reached No. 1 on the Billboard Christian music Hot AC/CHR chart and soared on the Hot CHR chart. The song also did well on the Billboard Christian AC charts.
“When we experience trials in our life, we can still trust that God is weaving together a beautiful symphony,” said JT Murrell, who oversees worship and album production at Life.Church. “Our hope is that people will play this song in the moments where they feel out of control so they’re reminded of God’s love and grace.”
”Sometimes we experience chaos, hurt and pain in our lives. Even when we don’t understand it, we can trust that God is weaving together a beautiful symphony. That’s what this EP is all about.”
