Superchic[k] Heads to Australia

A band whose music has been heard in more than 60 films and TV shows including both “Legally Blonde” movies, “Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen”, “Alias” and “The Practice”, will headline at AGMF 06 in Toowoomba next Easter (14-16 April).
Superchic[k] will join Grammy┬« award winning Australian singer-songwriter Rebecca St James to perform at the annual festival. The popular Chicago based Christian pop-rock sextet has been featured on CNN, Newsweek, and The New York Times. The band comprises vocalist Tina Brock, vocalist and guitarist Melissa Brock, bassist and vocalist Matt Dally, lead guitarist Dave Ghazarian, drummer Brandon Estelle and keyboardist and DJ Max Hsu. Superchic[k]’s latest album “Beauty From Pain” offers music that’s as well done as most music getting mainstream airplay today. The CD’s most uplifting song, “Anthem”, is a rousing girls-rock, girls-rule, girl-power tune.

AGMF 06 marks Superchic[k]’s second visit to Australia and the group’s first appearance at the festival that has become known as the country’s ‘number one event for youth, kids and families’.
AGMF, an acronym for the Australian Gospel Music Festival, attracts more than 30,000 people to Toowoomba each year. It draws most of its attendees from Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Northern NSW and the Darling Downs.
Tickets for AGMF 06 tickets go on sale from Monday 17 October. Prices are available online at
