Steve Green Slated to Release Woven In Time

Sparrow Records’ celebrated recording
artist Steve Green is slated to release his most definitive album to date,
Woven In Time, on March 26th, which is his first studio album in nearly two
years. The Christian music legend’s impressive career spans 17 years along
with 18 No. 1 hits and numerous awards and accolades, which include 6 Dove
Awards and 4 GRAMMY Award Nominations. Steve Green signed to Sparrow
Records in 1984 and has been recording with Sparrow longer than any other
artist on its roster. In an effort to continue the music and legacy of
Steve Green, Sparrow Records has set into place an extensive marketing plan
that centers on the strengths of one of Christian music’s most respected
artists and the release of his new album.
Produced by long-time friend Phil Naish (Steven Curtis Chapman, Point of
Grace) Woven In Time tells the beautiful story of God’s love-and His mercy
and grace revealed through the Cross of Jesus Christ. This album of Green’s
personal reflection and defining life moments illustrates that story and
carries on the rich legacy of Steve’s music and ministry. While sharing
co-writing credits for several songs, Steve also enlisted the talents of
fellow songwriters Wes King, Jon Mohr and Rob Mathes to help shape this
musical journey.

An aggressive Steve Green radio campaign has been developed, building on
Steve’s past success on the Contemporary Praise formats, which involves an
extensive six week set-up to launch the first single “The Pleasures Of The
King,” which goes for ads on February 22nd. An exclusive
“Win-It-Before-You-Can-Buy-It” promotion with top Contemporary Praise
stations will also take place to launch the album.
Maintaining his steady ‘by invitation only’ touring schedule of 100 shows
yearly, Steve will continue to hit key markets which include Orlando, FL;
Phoenix, AZ; Houston, TX; St. Louis, MO and Wichita, KS. Among his many
concerts, Steve recently performed in front of more than 4,000 pastors at
the “Beyond All Limits Conference” in Orlando, Florida.
A comprehensive CBA retail campaign has been set in place including National
Account positioning and catalog placement as well as a customized premium
offers with Family Christian Bookstores and Lifeway. Coupon Postcards will
also be distributed to church pastors at the Beyond All Limits conference,
