Building on the exceptional successes of previous years, the 5th annual oratory contest for high school students promises to be the biggest and best yet. More than 30 local contests are planned with the opportunity for finalists to compete at the state finals on May 22 in Nashville.
Participants must be in grades 9-12 and are required to prepare and present a 5-7 minute speech on the matters of euthanasia, infanticide or abortion. Speeches will be judged on content, presentation, effect, and organization and scholarship prizes will be awarded at both the state and national levels.
