Springfield Woman Designs and Produces Original Coloring Book

Just in time for summer vacation when kids are wanting something new to do, a Missouri author announces the release of a coloring book for children which teaches thankfulness.
Hand illustrated and designed for her own son in 1972 when he was eight years old, Marilyn Mueller of Springfielld, MO, carefully crafted a book that would teach young Stewart to be thankful for everything, A – Z while also reinforcing the letters of the alphabet.

After Stewart outgrew the original coloring book, Marilyn tucked her illustrations away until a professional photographer saw them and encouraged Marilyn to get the book published. Marilyn had discovered ChristianActivities.com on the web, and she sent her Thank You God for Everything book there, hopeful that someone would see the possibilities.
“I liked it right off the bat,” says ChristianActivities.com publisher, Kathryn E. Darden. “Marilyn’s hand drawings were simple but appealing, and her concept was wonderful.” Darden took the book under her wing, and together with Marilyn, has worked to make some minor improvements to polish it up. Thank You God for Everything is due out in late July.
Thank You God for Everything should have great appeal for Vacation Bible Schools, Sunday School classes, bookstores and parents and grandparents. For more information or to schedule a booksigning or interview email
