Australia’s Sonfest festival has announced that it has secured Third Day to play at Sonfest 2005.
Third Day is the world’s leading contemporary Christian music act. The Atlanta-based rockers have accrued four gold albums, a platinum album, a Grammy and 21 GMA Dove Awards.
Other acts scheduled to play this year include NZ’s Lads, GRITS plus a new Christian rock band, Day of Fire. Day of Fire is led by 27 year old singer-songwriter Josh Brown (not the keyboard player in Alabaster Box) whose previous band, Full Devil Jacket, toured with Creed.
