I’m leaving Monday for Ghana, West Africa, and I want to ask for prayer for the trip. I’ll be serving with Pure Warrior Ministries, leading worship (with my good friend Jesse Shuster) for a series of training seminars for pastors. Jesse and I will also perform a couple of concerts (with a salvation message given by Mark Post).
Between the two PUREVICTORY conferences, we expect nearly five hundred pastors (and it could be more – you just never know!). We’ll start with a two-day seminar and a concert in Mamprobi. Next we’ll head to Tema for a concert and crusade at a soccer stadium. We’ll do a radio station interview to help promote the event. We could have as many as a thousand at the concert and crusade where Mark will preach again. Then the team will conduct another two-day conference in Tema (although I have to miss that one – I’ve got to get home to start an short concert tour in the U.S.).
I hope you’ll keep the team in prayer while we travel. Here are some specifics:
Please pray for our health and safety as we travel.
Pray for our families while we are away.
Pray for Gods’ Spirit to lead us as we serve – particularly as we minister in a culture that is very different from our own.
Pray for the overall effectiveness of the seminars and the concerts.
Pray for the people we are there to serve – that God would use us to equip and empower the believers we encounter and that there will be many who will find hope in Christ.
