Salvador’s First Spanish Language Album

Salvador returns to their Hispanic roots by releasing their first all Spanish language album August 12th, where they once again exhibit excellence through the ample variety of Latin rhythms and sounds that have made the band unique.
Following the success of their previous releases, Salvador and Into Motion, and the great response the songs “Montaña” and “Alegría” have received, Con Poder brings ten uplifting, energizing songs that will enthrall the listener.
Included on the album are traditional hymns like “Con Poder” (With Power), “Montaña” (Mountain) and “Un Día a la Vez” (One Day at a Time), the latter featuring internationally known Latin Christian artist Vicente Montaño. Con Poder also includes contemporary and inspirational songs that will take the listener to a new level of worship bringing together a colorful mixture of styles and sounds.
Working on this album has inspired the Austin based band to learn more about their culture and language and has also allowed them to share their heritage through each performance.
Salvador recently performed at the Billboard Latin Conference where they were nominated for “Best Latin Christian Album of the Year.” Soon after, they headlined the Gala Night at Expolit, the largest International literature and music conference held worldwide. The band is also slated to join label-mate Jaci Velasquez as a special guest on her 40-city tour this Fall.
Dubbed Christian music’s hardest working and most exciting live band, Salvador erupted onto the scene three years ago with the buzz of the soulful music and a powerful voice of lead man Nic Gonzales. Their widespread appeal to both pop and Latin audiences has kept them touring an average of 200 dates a year, with highlights including Teen Mania’s “Acquire The Fire” youth conventions, as well as performance slots at Promise Keepers and the Billy Graham and Franklin Graham Crusades.
Warner Bros. Records Christian Division, a division of Word Entertainment, a Warner/Curb company, is home to both the Word and Squint record labels. The artist roster heralds some of today’s top Christian music performers and songwriters including Amy Grant, Point of Grace, Jaci Velasquez, Sixpence None The Richer, Sandi Patty, Rachael Lampa, Nicole C. Mullen and Mark Schultz. Warner Bros. Records Christian Division and its distributor Word Distribution lead the industry with over fifty years of music making history.
